FROM TACANAS TO OUR DAYS
8 DAYS/ 7 NIGHTS


DAY 1

Pick up passengers from Rurrenabaque and transfer to the Community of Villa Alcira.
Arrival to the Tacana Community and welcome drink. Taste the delicious “Majo Milk”.
Registration and accommodation.
Lunch.
PM Visit to the surroundings and observation of the typical flora of the region.
Later visit to the white cranes lagoon.
Dinner and overnight at the community.

DAY 2

Continental breakfast.
FD Traditional Fishing and cooking on wooden fires.
Lunch.
Traditional night of legends of The Tacana Community.
Dinner and overnight.

DAY 3

Continental breakfast.
FD harvesting and farming, together with Tacana people collect fruits and vegetables, plant and harvest.
Box lunch included.
Collect sugarcane and prepare “Chancaca” (cane syrup).
Return to the Community.
Dinner and overnight.

DAY 4

Continental breakfast.
Early in the morning departure from the community and trek On the Guajojo path to the Refuge of The Jichis, observe medicinal plants and fruits.
Snack included.
Arrival to the Refuge of The Jichis.
Accommodation and lunch.
Short walk to the beautiful waterfall of the Jungle Spirits where you will enjoy a refreshing bath.
Snack included.
Return to the Refuge.
Dinner and overnight.

DAY 5

Continental breakfast.
FD Weaving hut roofs, weave palm fronds and other plants for thatched roofs.
Trek to identify typical plants of the region.
Lunch and dinner included at the Refuge of The Jichis.


DAY 6

Continental breakfast.
Early in the morning departure from the Refuge and trek to the Tacana Community.
Lunch.
PM. Navigate on Callapo (native wooden raft) on Beni River (Typical floating wood of the region) and return to the community on boat.
Dinner and overnight.

DAY 7

Continental breakfast.
FD Handicrafts. Carve your own mask on a typical palm- wood called chonta.
Lunch and dinner included.
Overnight at the Tacana Community lodge.

DAY 8

Continental breakfast.
Cooking family meals on wooden fires. Participate preparing food with the Tacana Community learning their ancient recipes.
Lunch.
Transfer out to Rurrenabaque.
